Free return of used batteries
Batteries may not be disposed of with household rubbish. As the end user, you are legally obliged to return used batteries, so that proper disposal can be guaranteed. You can return batteries free of charge after use at the point of sale or in the immediate vicinity (e.g. at municipal collection points or in stores). You can also return batteries to us with sufficient postage or return them free of charge to our branch: Bosswerk GmbH & Co. KG – Herrenpfad 38, D-41334 Nettetal.
Meaning of the symbols
Batteries or rechargeable batteries that contain harmful substances are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out garbage can. This symbol indicates that batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. The chemical name of the pollutant is located near the garbage can symbol. Cd stands for cadmium, Pb for lead and Hg for mercury.
