The battery can be opened quickly and easily for service purposes by loosening four screws. This enables inexpensive repairs as well as the uncomplicated replacement of individual components.
Gone are the days when a battery had to be completely replaced even if only a single cell or a small electronic component failed. The housing is not glued and the individual components are not soldered or potted. Inexpensive repairs and long availability of spare parts enable the product to be used sustainably well beyond the warranty period.
The built-in round cells are screwed together and can therefore be exchanged individually and without special tools if necessary. Functional components can continue to be used in the event of a repair. This saves costs and resources for the consumer and the environment.
This LiFePO4 battery is a full-fledged lead-acid battery replacement with all the advantages of lithium iron phosphate technology. The memory was specially developed to fully meet the high demands placed on storage batteries today.
The highest level of safety and a long usability even with regularly deep discharge are given here. The technology enables an extremely long cycle life, which makes these batteries the ideal traction battery.
In addition, it offers a significant reduction in weight, enormous energy reserves and stable tension even under extreme loads.
The battery is suitable for replacing lead batteries such as AGM or gel one-to-one without having to change the charging or discharging structure. The battery is only suitable for 12V installations. A parallel connection to increase the capacity is possible (series connection to e.g. 24V is not possible).
The battery weighs only 15.5 kg and is particularly easy to transport. Due to the absolutely usable capacity, it replaces lead-acid batteries with a capacity of up to 200Ah in practice, despite the extremely light construction.
The battery is based on lithium iron phosphate technology (LiFePO4). It enables an extremely long cycle life and offers a significant reduction in weight, enormous energy reserves and stable voltage even under extreme loads.
The integrated Battery Management System (BMS) constantly monitors the status of each individual cell and protects them against overcharging, overvoltage and overtemperature, among other things. This prevents the battery from failing prematurely due to environmental influences or incorrect use.
The new LIONTRON® LX Arctic is the first LiFePO4 battery that can even be used in arctic temperatures down to -30 ° C. Other lithium batteries usually stop operating at 0 ° C.
The system consists of two energy-efficient heating elements controlled fully automatically by the Battery Management System (BMS), which keep the cell temperature above freezing point through the charging current in order to enable the battery to be used even under extreme conditions.
This makes the LIONTRON® LX Arctic the ideal choice for traveling in cooler climates or for installing the battery in the unheated part of the vehicle, for example in the battery compartment.
